Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot and Petit Verdot
13 hectares (32 acres) of 20-year-old vines
growing in deep Garonne gravel beds.
Mechanically harvested when the fruit is optimally ripe.
It is sorted with optical screening equipment.
Fermented in coated concrete tanks equipped
with temperature control. The winemaking techniques,
pumping over, rack and return are used according
to the needs of the vintage and the fruit.
More-ish, fruity nose.
Silky, chewy tannins.
Attractive fresh and aromatic finish.
2014
It is dense, tannic, and has a very nice aromatic palette. This wine also shows great finesse and great balance.
In the line of the previous vintages, Les Calèches de Lanessan 2014 is a wine cut for the keeping, even if it can be tastyly enjoyed now.

Solid structure. Beautiful fruit. Everything comes together harmoniously, with a fresh finish.

Service : 16°C / Ageing : 10 years Visual aspect: superb, very luminous. Nose: very delicate and elegant on splendid fruity aromas. Palate: full-bodied, charming and sumptuous, revealing fruity flavours again. Match with food: leg of lamb served with small vegetables.
